Tonight the Windham High School ski team had its third giant
slalom (GS) race. For the first time this season Windham matched up against
schools from both the SMAA and WMC (Western Maine Conference). Windham boys
took third behind strong performances from Jack Brockelbank (second place) and
Kyle Joseph (13th place). The girls also finished third with strong skiing from
Cassie Symonds (10th place) and Carly Chasse (11th place). Windham Alpine has
its final regular season GS race on Friday and slalom race next Wednesday. SMAA
conference championships are on February 14th.
