Windham Middle School sixth-grader George Butts is The
Windham Eagle athlete of the week. Butts plays baseball, football, basketball,
golfs and wrestles.
“George is a respectful athlete who always gives his best.
He shows himself as a leader on the wrestling mat and is always willing to
learn. His attitude and sportsmanship is consistent whether winning or losing.
He is the type of athlete any coach would love to have on their team,” said
wrestling coach Nate Johnson.
Butts would like to “win a state championship in one of my
sports, and would also like to become a Game Warden,” he said.
His parents are Scott and Tanda Butts
