Top five finishes for Windham High School alpine teams - By Jennie Butler

The Windham alpine boys and girls ski teams competed at Shawnee Peak for the SMAA championships on Monday, February 24. 

The championship includes both slalom and giant slalom races. The boys placed third out of five teams with 123 points and the girls placed fourth out of six teams with 162 points. For the boys, the top finishers were Jack Brockelbank in third for giant slalom and seventh for slalom. Kyle Joseph finished 12^th in giant slalom and Jordan Crowley finished 14^th in slalom. There were 44 racers. For the girls, Cassie Symonds finished fifth and Carly Chasse finished eighth in giant slalom. In slalom, Mary Brackett finished 20^th and Liz Mycock finished 21st. There were 44 racers.
