The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is Alex Loftis. This
Windham High School senior is a baseball player.
Varsity baseball coach Brody Artes said, “Alex led the
Eagles to a 3-0 opening day win over Sanford. Alex had a double from the plate
and eventually scored on a suicide squeeze by Andrew Whiting in the fourth
inning. Loftis also received the save from the mount, retiring the side in
order.”
Loftis is the son of Doug and Beth Loftis. He wants to
become a physical therapist.
Best way to unwind after competition: Listen to music and
ice my arm.
