The Aroma Joe’s athlete of the week is Meghan Hoffses, a
16-year-old sophomore at Windham High School. Meghan is on the soccer team
under the direction of coach LeBel. She also plays basketball and is on the
track team.
Meghan enjoys playing sports and spending time with
friends and family.
“I think kids should get involved with sports because
it's a way to create friendships and bonds that I wouldn't have made if I
didn't participate. Playing sports also
teaches you to work together as a team toward a common goal. It has made me a compassionate and a
competitive person,” Meghan said.
The most influential person in her sports career has been
her childhood soccer coach Jimmy Skvorak.
In the future she’d like to attend a four year college.
Meghan is the daughter of Lisa and Craig and has a
brother Cameron.
