Athlete of the week - Clayton Owens

Windham High School senior Clayton Owens is The Windham Eagle athlete of the week. Son of Teresa Hough and Scott Owens, he plays ice hockey and takes part in rodeos. 

 

Clayton would like to get a degree in agricultural business after high school. 

“Clayton Owens stood tall versus Mt Ararat to give our ice hockey team its first victory of the season. He made 15 of 25 saves in the third period and some left our team in disbelief,” said Greg Leclair, varsity ice hockey coach.

                                                           

Best way to unwind after competition:  “A good meal, a nice hot shower, then hang out with my teammates and enjoy the win and effort we put into it.”
