Athlete of the week - Grace Sawyer

The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is ninth-grader Grace Sawyer from Windham High School. Grace is the daughter of Teresa and T Sawyer. Grace is on the field hockey and track teams. 

Grace’s future aspirations stay with field hockey. “With the help of Coach Dubois and my awesome field hockey team I would like to see us rise as state champions,” she said.  She was nominated for this award by her coach. “Freshman Grace Sawyer who played in home opener last week vs Bonny Eagle recorded a shut out.  Quite an impressive feat for a freshman!” said Dubois.             

Best way to unwind after competition: Stretch, drink some juice, shower and take a nap.
