Another win for Windham girls soccer - By Stephanie Coffin

The Lady Eagles are proving that they are a team full of talent, hosting the Massabesic Mustangs and closing the game 7-0 last Wednesday evening.

Windham controlled the ball the majority of the game with Massabesic continuing to struggle for control.  The Mustangs never gave up in their fight against the Eagles offense right down to the last minute of the game.  However the Lady Eagles were too much for the Mustangs and were able to score seven times.

The Windham team continues to host a field of talented girls who have the desire and ability to play a great game of soccer.  The team has returning talent with Madison Mauro, Ciera Berthiaume, Holly Spencer, Maggie Symonds, Katie Herzig, Lindsey Arsenault, Maggie Lloyd, Erin Merchant and Sadie Neslon along with Emma Davis, Caitlyn Winn, Eliza Palow, Mary Brackett, Kaitlyn Roberts, Sarah Rich, Emily Kent, Sara Barrett on the team and freshman Meghan Hoffses and Jordan Lloyd.
Next home game for the Lady Eagles will be Friday the 18th against Thornton Academy.  Game time is 6 p.m. for varsity and 4 p.m. for JV.
