The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is
eighth grader Micah Mndujar from Windham Middle School. Micah lives with his
mom, dad, Jordan, Nate, Thomas and Jesse.
He plays soccer and basketball. In
soccer his is a wing/striker. His hobby is soccer, he said. Hi sports heroes
are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Neymar, all professional soccer
players.
When asked if it is difficult to balance
school and sports, he said, “No, because soccer is important to me and I need
good grades to stay on the team.”
His philosophy of teamwork is simple.
“Passing leads to goals.”
Micah would like to play college soccer
and then major league soccer.
