The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is junior swimmer
Joseph Paluso. The Windham High student is the son of Cheryl and Eugene Paluso.
Paluso has qualified for every swimming event with the
exception of diving, offered at the State championship meet, according to
Windham High School head swim coach Peter Small.
“Joe remains undefeated in dual meet competition this
season. He is tenacious in competition, but is a soft-spoken leader for the
other athletes,” said Small.
Paluso unwinds after competition by celebrating and being
with his team. He would like to swim in college, hopefully in the Boston area,
he said.
