Athlete of the week - Ciera Berthiaume

The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is junior soccer stand out Ciera Berthiaume from Windham High School. Ciera’s family includes her mom Angela, her papa Roger and her nana Mary Rose. Ciera also plays basketball.  

“Ciera is a gifted soccer player but fits into a team chemistry with ease. She has been a clutch player in our two early playoff games scoring four goals in the quarters and semis. She is one of the stronger forwards in the state who draws much attention from our opponents,” said varsity soccer coach Deb LeBel.                                        

Ciera plans to attend a four-year university, preferably on the west coast, she said. “Soccer may be in my college plans but getting a quality education comes first.  I’d love to pursue photography or graphic design,” she added.

Best way to unwind after competition:   I like to eat Pats Pizza with my girls and talk about our success’s.  After that I go home and watch Netflix and spend time with my wonderful family.
