PNF raises money to send a family to Camp Sunshine through Pipeline Challenge

By Mark York, PNF

Last weekend, PNF held its annual Pipeline Challenge where the participants raised enough money to send a family to Camp Sunshine for a week.

In celebration of Camp Sunshine’s 30th Anniversary the New Balance Foundation is matching all new and lapsed donor contributions up to $300,000 towards the Go the Distance Campaign. This campaign is designed to challenge supporters to fundraise while participating in endurance events across the country throughout the year. Camp Sunshine has multiple bibs/spots to different road races and obstacle courses all over the country. With this being said, if you are interested in doing any events contact Camp Sunshine and donate to get a bib. PNF would like to thank Camp Sunshine for letting us be a part of their Go the Distance Campaign.

PNF would like to thank The Galley Restaurant & Pub, USM’s Exercise Sport Science Association (ESSA), Shawn Horton Tattoos and Art Gallery, Pats Pizza, Miss Maine US Pageant ladies, all the people that donated, and everyone else for donating their time, services, and gift cards to our 3rd Annual Pipeline Challenge. We are very happy with the overall event and fundraising. For more pictures of the event, check out PNF’s Facebook page.
