The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is Spencer Hodge, a
17-year-old senior at Windham High School. Hodge plays soccer, basketball and
baseball for Windham. The most important thing to him when he is playing is “I
try to ensure everyone on the court is having fun and putting in 100 percent
effort while we represent our school.
After a game, Hodge likes to play the piano to unwind. In
the future he would like to go to college and play a sport there.
Boys’ varsity basketball coach Kevin Millington said, “Spencer
has been a leader on the basketball court thus far for the Eagles and has been
pivotal in the boys basketball teams steady start. Spencer is a league leader
in the SMAA for scoring, assists, steals, 3-pointers and free throws.”
Hodge’s parents are Lisa Hodge and Eric Anderson.
