The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is senior Josh Dugas.
Dugas is a four sport athlete playing soccer, football, basketball and baseball
for Windham High School.
Dugas is the son of Julie and Joe Dugas.
Dugas was nominated by his varsity soccer coach Wally
LeBlanc. “In order to make playoffs we need to increase our offensive
production. Josh plays a great role in establishing our attacking phase of the
game and he is realizing the success that comes with his efforts. He recently
had a game winning goal last week in Biddeford to help our team,” said LeBlanc.
Athletic director Rich Drummond added, “Josh is a four-year
participant in four sports which is rare in today’s world of high school
athletics. He has made positive contributions to each program on and off the
playing surfaces. He is a kid that makes me proud to the athletic director in
this district!”
Best way to unwind after competition: Hang with my friends
or family and relax.
Future aspirations: I want to pursue my education further by
attending a four-year university.
