Senior Melissa Morton is The Windham Eagle athlete of the
week. Daughter to Kat and Mike Morton, she plays varsity soccer for Windham
High School.
“Melissa had an injury plagued junior season. She has
bounced back nicely this season and is an offensive leader on this years
defending state champion squad. I’m very proud of her progress on and off the
field this fall,” said Morton’s coach Deb Lebel.
Best way to unwind after competition: I like to talk about the highlights of the
game with my parents and to take a long shower.
Future aspirations: I
would like to pursue a successful career in health science.
