Parks and Rec hot shot basket competition winners

On Wednesday January 22^nd, Windham Parks and Recreation held its annual Hot Shot Competition. The event was held at the Windham High School gym. A total of 37 students ages 9 to 12 got to show off some serious shooting skills. This annual event is sponsored by the Maine Recreation and Parks Association along with the Maine Red Claws Basketball team. Winners will advance to the regional competition held at the South Portland Community Center, Saturday, February 22, 2014. The winners are: Girls 9-10 year olds– First place: Kayla Flanders. Second place: Shyler Fielding. Third place: Hayleigh Moody. Girls 11-12 year olds- First place: Mikayla Baiguy. Second place: Alexandra Hammond. Third place: Chloe Allen.
