The Windham Eagle athlete of the week is Jessica Stumper.
The Windham High School senior is a swimmer. Last week Stumper qualified for
the State meet in the 50 free and the 100 free races.
“She has been a leader with the swim team this winter and
her positive attitude has bee a great influence on other team members,” said
swim coach Pete Small.
Her favorite way to unwind after competition is “relaxing in
bed with a good movie, good food and a hot cup of tea.
Stumper’s parents are Ed and Kathy Stumper. She plans on
attending a Maine college to major in biology or another science. She’s been
accepted at University of Maine, Saint Joseph’s College, University of Southern
Maine and University of New England.
